Nigeria to become home to amusement park development

Nigeria will soon be the location of a new amusement park and resort development to be called Great Adventures.

In addition to an amusement park and resort, the master plan also shows a conference centre, movie studio, zoo, sporting complexes and a golf range.

While detailed plans are yet to be released, the development’s final cost is estimated at $80 million.

Chance Morgan rides and ProSlide will be the exclusive major equipment providers for the project.

Construction is set to begin in 2010 for an opening slated for late 2012.
